· Gifts for Life is ERD’s program for providing alternative gifts to those that really need them while honoring your loved ones. You can choose from many essentials such as clean water, livestock or even micro-credit loans. Gifts start at just $12 (for a mosquito net). All Gifts for Life purchases and ERD donations are doubled (up to $760,000) through December 31st. · Equal Exchange is a fair trade retail program where you can purchase some of the world’s finest coffees, teas, chocolates and foods. They have nice gift boxes also. 15 cents from each pound purchased benefits ERD. Not only do these items help ERD financially but they also ensure that the members of the small farming cooperatives that produce them earn a fair wage.
