Holy Cross For the past number of years, Holy Cross has supported the migrant farmworkers at La Iglesia de la Familia Sagrada by providing Easter baskets containing age-appropriate items and goodies for their children. Due to the Coronavirus, there cannot be a large gathering of children this year, and there is not a safe way to distribute baskets and eggs. It is hoped that this service can be resumed in 2022.
The basket collection and delivery effort continue to be coordinated by Mary Gaylord, Church of the Good Shepherd. This year she suggests monetary donations be made to the church to support their outreach to the workers and their children. If you wish to support this effort, checks should be made out to La Iglesia de La Familia Sagrada. Please note that the checks are for migrant farmworkers and their children. Checks can be sent either directly to the church or to Mary, who will deliver them. Here are the addresses:
