Holy Cross Dear Friends,
As we move forward in our search for a part-time rector, your voice is
so important. We need your input in matching your spiritual needs and
our needs as a church with the candidates.
There are several ways we can connect with you so that you can share
your ideas and needs: via email, through one-on-one phone
conversations, and Zoom focus groups. If you are interested in being a part of this work, please
email hcsearch@hcew.org and let us know how you would like to
participate. We will be holding focus group sessions and making phone
calls during the month of May.
To begin with we have a few questions we would like you to be thinking about:
1) What are the personality characteristics (or personality profile)
that stand out that you feel we need at Holy Cross? What
characteristics inspire, nurture, or challenge you to grow
spiritually?
2)What are your priorities regarding your spiritual growth? Some
things you might want to consider include the spiritual growth of your
family, opportunities for adult Bible study and fellowship, Christian
education for children, and anything else that is important to you.
3) What type of leadership would you feel appropriate for our parish
growth and development? What type of leader do you think we need at
Holy Cross? Why is this important to you?
We invite you to share any additional comments of concerns that you
