Children's Ministries Partners with Outreach to Help Flood Victims

Holy Cross Children's Ministries has partnered with Outreach to help the flood victims of Hurricane Matthew. Flooding in North Carolina from Hurricane Matthew has caused $1.5 billion in damage to 100,000 homes, businesses and government buildings, authorities estimate. The figure is likely to be far greater, considering the estimate does not take into account the cost of repairing damaged roads and bridges or the value of belongings inside damaged buildings.  At least 26 people have died in Nort…

Be the Light - Scare Away Hunger

On October 30th more than 200 kids from churches that support the Help Hub gathered together to put a new spin on the Halloween tradition of "Trick-or-Treating".  Earlier in the week residence of Wrightsville Beach received brown paper grocery bags with a letter asking for non-perishable food donations.  The letter further explained that our youth would be collecting those bags on the following Sunday.  Instead of collecting candy this Halloween, our young people collected bags of donations.  We…
