Pastoral Care....Meal Preparation Team

  Thanks to everyone involved in our food ministry!  Our team prepares meals for Hospice once a month, and we also prepare food forl receptions (such as the reception honoring  Father Ed Dunlap in January) at the church, including funerals and special occasions.  We also prepare meals for families who are experiencing illness, or who have a family member who has died. Habitat for Humanity - An All-Episcopal Build!

The Cape Fear Habitat for Humanity Episcopal Build will begin on Saturday, February 20, 2016 when volunteers from all the sponsor churches will dig the footings for the new home.  It will be located at 1551 Liverpool St. in the Love Grove community (N. 11 St.) and will be home to the Wooten family.  Go to http://www.capefearhabitat.org/episcopal-build/ for more information. Wine Experience! Feb. 5!

FINALLY, after weeks of planning, the date for our wine tasting is here!! Mark your calendar for February 5th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. for the event. The proceeds will go toward our priest fund. As Fr. Jerry would be quick to tell you – “It’s not for me!" Eventually (and realistically), Holy Cross is going to call a full-time priest.
