Dear People of Faith,
House-Keeping Announcements
Bishop Visits Holy Cross
Bishop Robert Skirving will be attending the only (x1) Holy Eucharist service on December 7th at 10 am. This is his last pastoral visit with us. We are excited to have him receive Tedi Reiher and baptize Laine Berman into The Episcopal Church. A reception for Bishop Rob and the newest members of The Episcopal Church in the Diocese will take place after the service. This will be a grand celebration!
Confirmation is a sacramental rite in the Episcopal Church where individuals make a mature commitment to Christ and receive strength from the Holy Spirit through the laying on of hands by a bishop. Confirmation serves as a public affirmation of one's baptismal vows and a commitment to the responsibilities that come with being a member of the Church. It is an opportunity for individuals, particularly those baptized as infants or young children, to express their faith and dedication to living a Christian life. Confirmation opens the doors for service in the ministries of this parish and in the larger church.
Please talk with Rev. Anne if you are interested in being confirmed.
