Back-to-School Health and Wellness Fair

Help us welcome local families as they get ready for a new school year. Our annual back-to-school health and wellness fair in August brings community partners together at Holy Cross for health services, school supplies and family fun.

Services and activities

From health checks to family games, there are many ways to take part. Our fair brings together the services and activities below. Watch our church announcements for this year’s offerings and event details.

• Vaccinations and back-to-school supplies.

• Vision screenings.

• Blood pressure, cholesterol and blood sugar checks.

• Bicycle safety information.

• Family games and activities, including kite flying, Frisbee and cornhole.

Community partners

We partner with Novant Health, the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Department, the New Hanover County Fire Department, the Lions Club and other local organizations to serve families in our community.
